The annual bus table competition has a big place in the history of NFMH. From the first competition in 1986 until this year, it has been a success for both new and older students. The first competition took place as a prank against bullies who knew no better than to take part. It so happened that the prank broke so much that it was committed annually. Over the years, it changed and evolved into the form we know today. New students get the opportunity to compete with each other for the best and most desirable seats in Matgarður and get closer to each other along the way.
