Óðríkur should promote the school's students' opportunity to shine their light in the field of legislation. They organize and hold one songwriting competition in the fall semester and more often than not they hold a bad song competition. They are also responsible for organizing the NFMH singing competition in the spring semester, which involves finding a representative of MH in the upper secondary school singing competition in the spring semester.
